Great vest, not so great ascott Jul 08, 2011
By D. Long This is a very nice vest with satin front and silk back. The cinch for the vest is internal with elastic and button making for a neat and snug fit that looks sharp. The ascott on the other hand was somewhat disappointing. The upper part which shows outside the vest looks fine for the part, however the material is somewhat dense almost canvas in texture and the tails of the ascott are simply rectangular strips of fabric that don't resemble an ascott at all in my opinion. I'm happy with the vest though which I'll continue to use and needed the ascott for a wedding so I'm happy with my purchase overall.
