Flimsy Dec 06, 2011
By BTBJ I purchased this umbrella less than a year ago...wanted something compact and lightweight...which this umbrella is. However, the product broke less than a year later after very little use. I wanted to upgrade from the cheapo black umbrellas I continuously purchase on the street in nyc but this umbrella was not made much better.
Flimsy Construction Jan 11, 2011

The construction is very flimsy, resulting in the entire umbrella falling apart after a single use. It looks nice and is an eco-minded product, which is great, but definitely not suitable for anyone living in rainy environments (i.e. Pacific Northwest).
BTW - though it fell apart, it was easy to put back together. However, what good is an umbrella that falls apart in the midst of a downpour or gust of wind?
