Great gift purchase Jan 07, 2008 By M. Silva
My son, who lives in Chicago, wanted a wind-resistant umbrella as a Christmas gift. I looked at several on different sites and read all of the reviews. Those for this product looked the best and they were right! The umbrella is great for the Windy City Weather and the auto open-close feature is a valuable plus.

I liked this umbrella, it was great for walking in the rain in windy conditions, but the auto open & close mechanism stopped working after a little over one winter of use and now it is useless.

This is a very nice umbrella. Very strong against the wind, however the mechanism that handles the auto open/close is not very well-engineered. The mechanism broke after about three or four days of use. Now the umbrella stays open and I can't fix it.

Wonderful umbrella: Just the right size. Seems sturdy. Opens and closes with the touch of a button. The strap on the carry case is little more than a string. I imagine it will break if it gets caught in a door or in bags of groceries that I am carrying
