Another version of GORGONZ Pro Line ear warmers is made of Teflon coated 100% Duck cotton, but includes 3MTM ScotchliteTM for visibility when working in low light conditions. Binding is made of 85% nylon/15% spandex with 100% plastic frame. Ear warmers have a wrap behind the head design, weigh only two ounces and adjust to any size head. They collapse for compact storage and work with hats, helmet and glasses.

I had a set of Artic 180's ear warmers but lost them. Not being able to find them locally, I went to Amazon and tried to find a replacement. I saw that Gorgonz had some ear warmers so I decided to roll the dice and give them a try. The ear warmers are warm and appear to be pretty durable, but they are annoying in some ways. First is that they don't "remember" the size setting that you stretch them to, so they shrink while they're on your head and can get jostled by your collar. Second is that they don't fold flat like [I think] they are designed to (see customer image above). This makes it hard to fit them in a pocket--which was one of the biggest reasons to get this type of ear warmer instead of regular earmuffs. The Gorgonz ear warmers will get me by, but I'm still going to keep looking for those Artic 180's that I lost.

These ear warmers work beautifully. They stay on my ears and keep them nice and toasty. I ride a bike and was looking for something to keep my ears warm while wearing a helmet. (I wasn't enthusiastic about wearing a headband or skull cap.) These ear warmers do not get in the way of the helmet, and my ears stay warm even while I'm riding my bike in windy weather. (Put the helmet on first and fasten the chin strap, then put on the ear warmers.) I'm able to turn my head back and forth to look for traffic without worrying about the ear warmers coming off. Even better, these are coated with teflon on the outside to withstand the weather, and they have reflective trim which is perfect for riding at night. The inside has comfortable fleece. The ear warmers do not block sound very much; I'm still able to hear cars go by just fine.
Being a southerner, I'm new at wearing any kind of ear muffs or warmers, and when I first put these on, I wasn't sure how well they would stay on. However, after I adjusted them properly and tried them out on a couple of bike rides, they proved to stay in place very nicely. I highly recommend these to anyone, especially bikers.
If you prefer fashion and color coordination, Gorgonz makes warmers with black or colored fleece on the outside, but they don't have weather-proof teflon or reflective trim.

I've used these only a few times so far. Here are the pros:
1. Keeps my ears warm and covers a good portion of the head without getting in the way of a hat.
2. Adjustable to a certain degree
Cons:
1. Can be tighter. When using these for running they tend to bounce a lot and not stay in place that well.
2. The portion on the ears can be more comfortable. There is a wire of some sort inside the ear piece that is tolerable but restricts you from wearing these for longer periods. If your head is small like mine, I put a hoodie on and the ear warmers over it so it stays in place better and feels more comfortable.
Overall, I would invest in a more expensive ear warmer in the future.

I work at the cemetery in wintertime in Leipzig. I have to wear a top hat and during the cold, my ears freeze. I can't wear anything that will interfere with my top hat so I got the Gorgonz Ear Warmer.
I ride my bicycle to the cemetery and back (123 miles round trip), when it's around 10 degrees out. This Gorgonz Ear Warmer can be worn under a helmet if you extend your helmet straps.
It's made in China, doesn't seem like it will last too long. I tried it on, it's a bit tight and uncomfortable to wear. Even with this, my top hat doesn't always sit properly. It's okay for some cold days. Buy it on sale for under ten.
I still prefer a Traditional Balaclava to wear on extreme cold winter days.
